Treatment Rooms

Welcome to San Antonio Aesthetic and Family Dentistry

We pride ourselves on the comfortability of our office. We understand that discomfort isn’t always physical so we use several methods to deliver painless, quick, and comfortable care. Here’s how.

Sedation Dentistry

Sedation in the dentist’s office is quite different than sedatives you’d receive from other doctors. By using nitrous oxide, our sedatives allow you to sit through various procedures, keeping you calm and comfortable. You may benefit if you have dentophobia, low pain tolerance, or a sensitive gag reflex.

Nitrous oxide (N2O), better known as laughing gas, is an inhalable drug that induces euphoria. This works great to quell fears, anxiety, and numb pain while keeping you alert. Under the effects of N2O, you’ll be able to keep us informed about any concerns. We recommended having transportation lined up, as sedatives can impair motor skills.

Shorthand for chairside economical restoration of esthetic ceramics provides you with crowns much quicker. In the past, you would be sent home with a temporary crown until the new crowns arrive from the lab. However, we can now cut, stain, and insert your new crowns in just one visit with CEREC® machines.

Laser Dentistry

We believe that by using the latest technology, we can deliver better care for your family. Lasers allow us to target a specific tissue at a time, which means less risk of complications. For example, if we are working on your enamel, the soft tissues around your teeth will go unaffected.

Despite the lasers you’re accustomed to seeing in movies and TV, dental lasers are painless and non-invasive. Most of the time, patients don’t require sedatives or analgesics as these are minimally noticeable. Procedures these can fix include:

Gummy smile

Teeth whitening

Reshaping teeth
